The 3M Cool Flow Exhalation Valve, a patented one-way valve offers easy exhalation for cool, dry comfort. An adjustable M nose-clip to help provide a custom fit and secure seal. 3M 8511 Particulate Respirator N95 has been a popular choice for protection against Avian flu, Bird flu, Tuberculosis / TB, and SARS. Please note that the exhalation valve feature makes this mask only useful against these pathogens. For a person already infected, use a mask without the valve, as air passes out of the mask unfiltered through the exhaust valve.
